I've developed synthetic reeds for the Swedish bagpipe because many people playing these pipes were sick and tired of the the problems that come with playing single bladed cane reeds.  Using these reeds result in the player being able to spend more time playing and almost no time messing with the reeds.  The reeds are made to perform in the chanter and drone at the same pressure and create a balance between the two that makes them much more stable than using cane reeds.  I have sent these reeds all over the world to all ranges of pipers, from beginner to top professional pipers, and they are working with great results in many different makes of Swedish pipes.  You will not be disappointed.

Universal Synthetic Smallpipe Drone Reeds: (pictured below) 

These reeds are intended for use in most small-pipe drones, but have also been used in the drones of other small bagpipes.  The standard reeds are approx 7/16" o.d. with a 3/16" o.d. reed seat.  I can also make custom sizes for just about any set of smallpipes.  I have reeded many different makes of smallpipes including, Hammish Moore, Gibson ( Fireside & Ceilidh), EJ Jones, Walsh (Smallpipes & Shuttle pipes), Shepherd, and Cushing to name a few.

Kitchen-Pipe & Shuttle Pipe Drone Reeds: (pictured below)

I designed these special reeds for Kitchen-pipes because all makes of kitchen-pipes are supplied with common practice chanter reeds for the drone reeds.  This setup uses a lot of air; almost as much as a full set of highland pipes in some cases.  If you have a set of kitchen-pipes then you know what I mean.  These drone reeds I designed are more like smallpipe reeds and use half the air of a standard kitchen pipe drone reed which is made for a practice chanter.  These reeds will also result in a richer tone; more like a smallpipe.  Save yourself the headaches and all the extra blowing and get a set of these drone reeds.  The use of these reeds in Shuttle-pipes is based on feedback from customers who bought my regular smallpipe reeds sets and used them in their Shuttle-pipes.

YellowJacket Blowpipe Valves:  (pictured below)

Tapered blowpipe valve that fits in the bottom of your blowpipe.  I use these valves in all of my bagpipe blowpipes including Sackpipa-Swedish Bagpipes, Border-pipes, Small-pipes, and Highland-pipes.  These compare to other taper fit valves which are more expensive for the valve and the replacement flappers.  Satisfaction guarenteed.
