I have been in business making bagpipes as a hobby for about 10 years now. I started making Scottish bagpipes and developed a straight taper Border pipe chanter reamer with the help of E.J. Jones and some x-rays of old insturments. Next in my pipemaking journey with the guidance of master pipemaker Timothy Britton I learned the art of making Irish Uilleann bagpipes which many are now being played all over the world.
A little later in my pipemaking years I came across a Swedish man named Marcus that encouraged me to make Swedish bagpipes, and after I heard a set played I knew right then that I would make and play Swedish bagpipes. I obtained a set of plans from a guy in Sweden and have been making the "Sackpipa" ever since. Cheers, Seth Hamon aka "Texasbagpiper"
